In this session, the veritable Audio Doctor C and the Mysterious Professor of Stereo make their appearance once again at Wild Rose Brewery, in Griffith, Indiana in this episode of the SLAC Art Reception for "ICE" or rather "in case of emergency". The art is the show, and we are the weird soundtrack.
In this session, the Professor and I are all over the place with the audio-lucigenic sounds of swirling guitars looping backwards and forwards and many other liquid sounding mind bending filters and effects to send trails and tracers in your minds inner ear.
These 3 tracks are the raw results right off the board. Since the VU meters were running hot a lot of the time, i felt that this sketch is ok for presentation for now just to get it out. Later i will trim and enhance the selections. So what we have, Track 1 is practically all Doctor and Professor here. Track 2 starts with just the Doctor and the Professor steps back in right on cue to blend your mind in the whirligig of his riffs. Track 3 is technically a "cover" of the Pink Floyd tune "Interstellar Overdrive" but since that is an improvised tune, it just moves anyway we want it to. It is by far my favorite 'Floyd tune since it essentially can be the descending riff and anything in-between and is pretty "action filled".
You might hear some digital farts and crackles, distortion, and some clipping was pretty evident in this recording. I hope to rectify that in the next edition of this release.
I'd like to thank the SLAC group and the good Professor for inviting me to entertain and to S.P.C for setting this show up. I'd like to thank the Wild Rose for hosting another fun show. I'd also like to thank you for being there showing your support. Thanks again!
